What is the monthly fee on an electricity contract?
The standing charge is a fixed fee from the electricity supplier, usually billed monthly in addition to usage-based energy charges. This page covers the supplier’s fee only.

Here, “monthly fee” means the standing charge on the electricity supply contract. The comparison separates an ongoing €0/month charge from a promotion that waives the fee only for a stated period. Offers and promotions can change.
Check current offers ↓An ongoing zero standing charge is different from a promotion that waives the regular fee for a limited period. The offer cards keep these cases separate and show the regular monthly fee after a promotion when the structured product data provides it.
A €0 monthly fee does not automatically mean the cheapest contract overall. Compare the energy rate, your usage, any spot margin, promotion length and estimated total cost.
This list includes ongoing €0 monthly fees and separately labelled promotions with a structured full-fee waiver. Offers are ranked by estimated total annual cost, not by the fee alone.
Product details come from open data published by the Finnish Energy Authority’s Sähkönhinta.fi service. Fiksusti syncs the catalogue and filters it by postcode and your choices. We rank results by estimated annual cost using your stated consumption and the product’s energy and monthly charges. Electricity retailers are responsible for product information.

An offer may have an ongoing €0/month standing charge, or a limited promotion that waives the fee temporarily. These are different situations. A promotion period is shown only when the product data provides it in a structured field.
No. Total cost also depends on the energy rate, your consumption, any spot-price margin and the length of a promotion. Compare offers using the same annual usage; the standing charge alone does not determine which costs less.
A fixed monthly fee can make up a larger share of total cost when electricity use is low. A €0 fee may therefore be especially relevant, but the energy rate and actual usage still affect the total.
The standing charge does not depend on how many kilowatt-hours you use. With lower consumption, the same fixed amount is spread over fewer kilowatt-hours and can account for a larger share of the bill.
A promotion may reduce or waive the fee for a limited period. Check the regular fee and what applies after the offer ends. The estimate uses the promotion period and later fee when supported by the existing calculator.
The card shows the regular fee after the promotion when the structured product data and current calculator can establish it. Always confirm the current terms with the supplier.
Compare them together. A low energy rate with a higher standing charge may suit a different usage level than a higher rate with no monthly fee. Use your annual consumption and compare estimated annual cost.
The existing calculator combines the product’s energy rate, monthly fee, your annual usage and discounts it supports. A spot-price estimate is not a forecast of future market prices.
Compare all contracts using your postcode and annual usage. An offer with no monthly fee is not automatically the lowest-cost option overall.
The monthly fee on this page is for the electricity supply contract. Distribution is a separate service from your local network operator and may have its own charges. This page does not mean your entire electricity bill has no fixed fees.
Compare the estimated total cost as well as the standing charge. The cheapest contract can depend on your postcode and annual usage.
