What type of internet is suitable for remote work?

How much speed do you need for remote work?
There is no single speed figure for everyone. Your work, video calls, large files, cloud sync and other people online at the same time affect what you need. The card shows the speed listed for the plan, not a guarantee of real-world performance.
Internet for video calls
Teams, Zoom and Google Meet calls can depend on both connection capacity and how consistently the connection works. Fiksusti does not measure these qualities by plan or make service-specific speed claims. If calls stutter, the cause could also be Wi-Fi, your device or workplace systems.
Download and upload: what does the data show?
The product catalogue has one `speed` field, shown as the listed plan speed. It has no separate download or upload field. Some DNA product notes list a maximum upload speed, but this information is not a consistent comparison field across all plans. We do not infer upload from other values.
4G or 5G for remote work?
4G may be enough if it works where you use it and the listed speed meets your needs. 5G may be worth considering if you need more listed capacity or several people are online at once. What if everyone at home shares the connection?
Another remote worker, streaming, game downloads and smart devices may all use the connection during a work call. Several people online at once can increase the capacity needed, but household size alone does not determine one universal speed.
Wi-Fi or Ethernet for a home office?
Home Wi-Fi is separate from the internet connection itself. If your desk can connect to the router by Ethernet, it may remove some variables from the wireless link between your device and router. It cannot fix a problem in the provider’s network or internet connection.
Your router and where you place it can matter
With mobile internet, router placement and building conditions can affect reception. The product data does not provide a common router model or Wi-Fi standard for every plan. Check device requirements, compatibility and price with the provider; no specific improvement can be promised.
What if your work involves large files?
