Insurance Comparison in Finland

When comparing insurance, look beyond price: check the deductible, what the cover includes and its exclusions. Fiksusti helps you choose an insurance category, see the providers in its current data and continue to their services. The insurer confirms your personal price and policy terms.

What does Fiksusti do today?

Fiksusti does not request personal quotes from insurers or calculate a new policy price. The comparison tool lists providers linked to each insurance category and takes you to their services. You can save details of your current policy and the monthly price you enter; its displayed annual cost is that amount multiplied by twelve. Saving your details is not a quote or a like-for-like comparison of insurance premiums.

Why compare insurance?

Your needs, insured property and policy terms can change. Comparing helps you bring your current policies and their prices together for review, then continue to an insurer’s service to explore options. It does not guarantee a lower price or identical cover.

What should you compare in an insurance policy?

These are points for you to check in the insurer’s quote and policy documents. Fiksusti does not currently display all of them side by side.

  • Price

Check the final price calculated for your circumstances, payment schedule and how long the quote is valid.

  • Deductible

Find out what you would pay yourself after a covered loss and whether different sections have different deductibles.

  • Scope of cover

Compare the events covered and the conditions that apply. Policies in the same category can differ.

  • Benefit limits and exclusions

Review maximum benefits, exceptions and situations that are not covered.

  • Optional cover and terms

Consider whether optional cover suits your needs and read the policy terms before signing.

The cheapest policy is not always the right fit

The cheapest insurer can vary by customer and insured property. Price alone does not tell you how broad the cover is or what deductibles and exclusions apply. Compare similar cover and a quote calculated for your circumstances.

What is an insurance deductible?

A deductible is the portion of a covered loss that you pay yourself under the policy terms. Check the amount, how it is applied and whether it differs by coverage in the insurer’s quote and policy documents. Fiksusti’s form choices are not insurer-confirmed deductible terms.

Compare the scope of cover too

Check covered events, benefit limits, exclusions and optional cover in the insurer’s own documents. Fiksusti does not currently display full policy terms or insurer-specific benefit limits side by side.

Should you keep all your insurance with one company?

A possible bundle benefit does not by itself show whether the overall package is suitable or affordable. Compare the final prices, cover, deductibles and terms for all policies together. Fiksusti does not display insurer-specific bundle discounts.

When should you review your insurance?

A review may be useful when you move, buy or change a car, your circumstances change, or a policy’s price or terms change. There is no single review interval that suits everyone.

How does comparing insurance work?

  1. 1Choose an insurance category.
  2. 2Gather your current policy price and terms.
  3. 3Open a provider listed for that category and request your own quote.
  4. 4Compare similar cover, deductibles, exclusions and total price.
  5. 5Decide only after reviewing the quote and policy documents.

Insurance comparison: frequently asked questions

How do I compare insurance?

Start with policies designed for the same need. Check your personal quote, deductible, scope of cover, benefit limits, exclusions and terms. Fiksusti helps you choose a category and continue to providers in its current data.

Why compare insurance?

Prices, needs and policy terms can change. Comparing helps you check whether your current cover still suits you. Savings cannot be promised in advance.

Which insurer is the cheapest?

This data cannot identify one insurer as cheapest for everyone. Personal prices depend on the customer and insured property, and Fiksusti does not request comparable quotes from insurers.

Which insurer is the best?

The right insurer depends on the insurance type, price, cover, deductible, terms and your circumstances. Fiksusti does not rank insurers by quality.

Can Fiksusti show my exact insurance price?

No. Fiksusti does not request personal insurance quotes. Check your final price and terms in the insurer’s service.

What types of insurance can I review in Fiksusti?

The current tool supports home, car, motorcycle, snowmobile, travel, life, personal accident and pet insurance.

Which insurers are included in Fiksusti?

The names shown on this page come from Fiksusti’s current provider data. Providers vary by insurance category, and the list does not automatically include every insurer in Finland.

What does a deductible mean?

It is the share of a covered loss that you pay yourself. The insurer and policy determine the amount and how it applies.

Is the cheapest policy always the best?

Not necessarily. Compare price alongside cover, deductibles, benefit limits and policy terms.

Should I bundle all my insurance with one company?

It depends on the total price, cover and terms. A possible bundle benefit does not guarantee the most affordable or suitable package.

When should I review my insurance?

For example, when your circumstances, home, car, or a policy’s price or terms change. There is no universal required review interval.

Can insurance cover differ between policies?

Yes. Check covered events, limits, exclusions and optional cover in the insurer’s terms.

Where can I read the final policy terms?

Review the insurer’s quote, product information document and policy terms before buying.

Is Fiksusti’s insurance comparison free?

Using Fiksusti’s comparison tool is free. Any policy you buy is priced according to the insurer’s quote and terms.

Do affiliate links affect comparison results?

A partner link may earn Fiksusti a commission, but insurers are not ordered by commission. The insurer directory on this guide is alphabetical; provider order in the comparison tool follows its existing data.
