Delete Fiksusti app data

You can delete data stored on our servers for the Fiksusti app directly in the app. You need an internet connection and the device used to set up your Fiksusti Watch.

Delete data in the app

Open Fiksusti and go to Settings.
Choose Delete my Fiksusti data and confirm.
The app asks the server to delete data linked to the same secure Watch identifier. Local comparison data and the identifier are removed only after the server confirms deletion.

What is deleted?

The request deletes phone and electricity watches, contract reminders, related notification and delivery history, and watch email settings linked to your identifier. The server does not look up your data by email address. The app authenticates the request with a random identifier stored on your device; the raw identifier is not stored in the database.

After the server confirms, the app also removes locally saved comparison and profile information, watch caches, and the encrypted Watch identifier. If the server request fails, the app keeps the identifier and local data so you can try again.

Technical rate-limit records used to prevent abuse are kept separately from watch and reminder records. They use keyed digests rather than raw email addresses or Watch identifiers. Daily cleanup deletes counters last updated more than 48 hours ago when their counting window also began more than 24 hours ago. It also clears expired verification-token digests from unverified email settings without deleting email addresses. Automatic cleanup is scheduled daily at 06:00 UTC as part of the existing watch and reminder processing job. Each run handles at most 500 rate-limit records and at most 500 verification tokens. The schedule, batch limit and failures can delay cleanup. Watches, reminders and their history are not otherwise automatically deleted after a retention period. Identifier-based counters are deleted when their keys can be derived from the data being removed; network-address and one-time-link digests remain separate. Messages already delivered to your email remain in your mailbox.

Cannot access the app?

Email info@fiksusti.fi from the address you verified for Fiksusti Watch and tell us you cannot use the app. Do not email your app Watch identifier. We will verify the request before deleting data; if we cannot confirm ownership, we will ask for the information needed through a safe channel.
